Who We Are

Founded in 1994, as a pioneer and leader of China’s electric water heating faucet industry, Ningbo Sodn Feiyu Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of electric instant water heating faucets and electric instant water heaters in China.

In 1994, Feiyu invented China’s first “faucet-type electric water heater” and obtained the national patent (patent NO.: 94216426.1), which is a milestone in the development history of electric water heating faucets in China. In 2008, Feiyu was invited to develop two national standards, The Instantaneous Water Heater and The Special Requirements for Instantaneous Water Heaters, as a drafting and formulating member.

Unceasingly developing and forging ahead, now the Company has 9 major product series, including electric water heating faucets, instant kitchen water heaters, instant shower water heaters, etc. It boasts an annual capacity of 5 million electric water heating faucets and 1 million water heaters.

In 2019, Feiyu made its technological breakthrough, established a subsidiary company – Ningbo Tinthin Technology Co., Ltd., and developed a new standardized heating module – Tinthin high-performance and safe interior component. With the core technology of high-efficiency heating, secured by a number of safety technologies, the module has been successfully applied in a variety of products, including instant water heating faucets, under counter water heaters, shower water heaters, and intelligent heating products. Supported by this technology, Feiyu electric instant water heating faucets have updated to the 2.0 version.

As the industry pioneer, Feiyu will continuously dedicate to technology innovation and endeavor to build itself into a benchmark enterprise in China’s fast-heating industry.

Company Development The leaps of Feiyu tells a living history of industry innovation

1994

Feiyu invented China’s first “faucet-type electric water heater” with a national patent (patent NO. 94216426.1) and began mass production in the same year with the sales across the whole country. Since then, Feiyu has become a pioneer and leader of China’s electric water heating faucet industry.

2000

Feiyu set up a Manufacturing and R&D base in Ningbo, Zhejiang, laying a solid foundation for large-scale product R&D, production and sales.

2003

Feiyu introduced the internationally advanced “Shunchi” heating technology, optimized it and made a technological breakthrough, accelerating the heating speed of the product to 1 second.

2006

Feiyu introduced the British test standard, and invested heavily to build a rare and unique laboratory in China that meets the British BEAB standard, bringing the Company’s testing and experimenting level on a par with the advanced European level.

2007

Feiyu exported instant electric water heaters to the UK, and successfully developed a strong and stable foreign trade cooperation and expanded its overseas market.

2008

Feiyu became a drafting and formulating member and developed two national standards, The Instantaneous Water Heater and The Special Requirements for Instantaneous Water Heaters.

2011

Feiyu launched a new series of electric water heating faucets, the second-generation of “1-second hot”, leading the industry into the “1-second hot” era of electric water heating faucets.

2013

In June, Feiyu’s manufacturing department moved into a new standardized manufacturing plant with an area of 10,000 m2, where the manufacturing management has been comprehensively improved. The plant equipped with 32 assembly lines realized intelligent quality monitoring throughout the manufacturing process and a daily production capacity of over 20,000 electric instant water heating faucets.

2016

Feiyu has obtained 167 patents for invention/creation, utility models (for example, patent No.: 200520015264.0), and industrial design, including those already obtained and pending approvals, staying far ahead in the industry.

2019

Feiyu established its subsidiary Ningbo Tinthin Technology Co., Ltd. which focuses on the core solutions for fast heating products and developed new interior components for electric water heating faucets, achieving high-efficiency and safe heating.

2020

In May, Feiyu purchased another new manufacturing plant of more than 14,000 m2. A smart factory will be set up for intelligent manufacturing in 2022.

In July, the factory upgraded its production methods and adopted the lean production model, which significantly enhanced its productivity.

2022

Feiyu's new product "Homothermal water heating faucet" wins the Red Dot Design Award.

2023

"Tinthin Intelligent Homothermal Module" wins the 2023 iF Design Award.

Capacity

Feiyu owns a production base of more than 10 thousand square meters with an annual capacity over one million.

Adopting the advanced Japanese delicacy management, the production base boasts dozens of lean and flexible cell production lines and industry-leading professional production equipment, and strictly implements ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14001 environmental management system, ensuring good performance and strong stability of the products and a full range of product services for customers.

Feiyu has an advanced fast-heating production base in China, equipped with 32 semi-automatic production lines with water test benches for all the product testing items. The annual production capacity reaches 5,000,000 sets of electric instant water heating faucets, 1,000,000 sets of shower series. It also owns the following facilities: a warehouse for covering over 4000 square meters; various hardware and software for the factory inspection of spare parts; product sampling rooms equipped with BEAB test bench; modern offices with R&D technology liaison station, an audio-visual integrated conference room that can accommodate 80 front-line managers; lecture rooms for training in product structure and performance; an after-sales service center for analyzing product failure with test bench for detecting the performance of maintenance machines; a quality management center to ensure the reliability and safety of warehousing and product quality.

In 2006, Feiyu invested heavily to establish a rare British BEAB laboratory in China and introduced foreign advanced testing equipment with a strong ability of scientific research, ensuring Feiyu’s innovative strength and new products that better meet market demand.

The first product life test chamber introduced to China

In 2017, the fully enclosed product experimental test chamber was used to test all models in all testing items with higher efficiency, which undoubtedly promoted the product quality.

Ranking the first in the industry with nearly 140 national patents

By 2021, Feiyu has won national patents more than 140, including invention and creation, industrial design and utility model patents.
